Lyrics adapted by Frank DiGiacomo from Chapter 28, verses 18 to 20 of the Gospel of St. Matthew
This song, as well as Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, The Bridge of San Luis Rey and Song of Solomon, was written in the Composer’s student days at Syracuse University, and recorded in a practice room at the old Crouse College of Music. William (Bill) Black was a fellow student, and the song was written for his voice. The primitive live recording, as you may appreciate, is far from studio perfect, but it does show the power of the music. Also included are a synth voice and piano rendition as well as the synth rehearsal piano-only version.
The manuscript of the song has not been found, but we are grateful for the transcription from archival audio tape by Jason Loffredo. He can be contacted at www.jasonloffredo.com.

LYRICS
All power in heaven, and on earth has been given to me.
Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold I am with you all days even unto the consummation of the world.
